Question

Are kids allowed at the wedding?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, we are politely requesting no children please.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We kindly ask that you refer to your invitation to see if a plus-one has been included. We are only able to accommodate the guests listed on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

Will the wedding be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be held outdoors amongst the beautiful San Juan mountains.

Question

What is the weather like in Telluride?

Answer

Telluride is beautiful in July with mild sunny days and cooler evenings. The average high is 73 degrees with the average low at 47 degrees. The nights can get chilly and we will be outside for portions of the weekend, as well as high elevations so a jacket or wrap would be advisable.

Question

How do I thrive at such a high altitude?

Answer

Telluride sits at 8,750 feet and our ceremony and reception venues sit even higher at 11,200 and 10,100 feet, respectively, meaning about 30% less oxygen than at sea level. To help your body adjust, we recommend staying well-hydrated before and during your trip (water + electrolytes - like LMNT, Salt of the Earth, etc.) and know that portable oxygen cans are available at local pharmacies and hardware stores. Please call the Telluride Medical Center, (970) 728-3848 if you are worried about your symptoms. It is important to not ignore any of these symptoms. If you've had issues with high altitude previously, please consult with your doctor on taking necessary steps leading up to and during your stay in Telluride.
