We would love for people to be within walking distance of each other and encourage people to stay in the center of Whistler Village. There are larger accommodations too generally found slightly further away such as townhomes on Blackcomb side or large homes across the sea to sky highway (e.g., Blueberry Hill). *High-end Hotels in Whistler Village* Fairmont Chateau Whistler: This luxury hotel offers rooms and suites with woodland, village, or mountain views. Are condos an option for lodging?

Yes! We often enjoy staying in the Bear, Eagle or Deer Lodges right on the village stroll in the center of Whistler Village where you can find affordable 1 and 2 BR condos on airbnb and vrbo. There are larger accommodations too generally found slightly further away such as townhomes on Blackcomb side or large homes across the sea to sky highway (e.g., Blueberry Hill).

How do we get around Whistler?

Answer

Here are some transportation options to consider: Shuttle Services: We can arrange shuttle service to the wedding venue. If you would like to be picked up from your accommodations and transported to the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre, please let us know as soon as possible. Taxi Services: Whistler has several taxi companies that can provide on-demand transportation. Private Car Services: For a more luxurious option, consider hiring private car services for transport to the wedding venue. Public Transit: Whistler has a reliable public bus system that connects major hotels and venues. This could be a cost-effective option. Walking: If your accommodations are close to the venue, walking might be a pleasant option, especially given Whistler's beautiful scenery. Alec and Lisa usually walk everywhere in Whistler and rarely use a car (except to go to the Scandinave Spa just outside the Village Center).
