Lisa and Alec met on Bumble, an online dating app where women make the first move. Luckily for Alec, Lisa swiped right on him leading to a first date, a 5-hour tea in San Francisco. At the end of the date, they each boarded a BART train going in opposite directions - Alec east to Oakland and Lisa south to the Mission District. After about 30 seconds on the train, Alec texted Lisa, “Is tomorrow waaaaaaaaay too early to see you again?” “Absolutely not!” replied Lisa. 😍

Lisa and Alec planned a family vacation in San Diego renting a house on Mission Beach. After a weeklong adventure of activities in the water, on the boardwalk, and at the amusement park, Alec coordinated a sunset walk on the beach with some of the family where he surprised Lisa with the big question. It’s a shock that Alec survived the 10 minutes of smiling, laughing, hugging before Lisa finally said “Yes!”
