Lambie and Rachel met in a very romantic spot... the basement of Lambie's frat house, Zeta Psi. Lambie approached Rachel and her friends asking them what sports they played. Rachel, being who she is (not athletic), laughed at his joke and hushed him away. Lambie continued to try and get Rachel's attention all night and failed, until finally Rachel agreed to dance with him. 2 weeks later they were dating, 2 weeks after that the L word. The rest is history.

Lambie and Rachel studied abroad in Florence in 2017. They attended different universities and lived in separate housing. Lambie lived with a host family and Rachel lived with roommates. Lambie claims that Florence secured his love for Rachel and he knew after they traveled the world together, that they were destined to be together forever.
