We're getting married!

Our story began on Tinder in September 2015. After a month of polite persistence, we had our first date at Tako in downtown Pittsburgh. If you know Rach, you know it takes a little while for her to "see the notification." Anyway, we celebrate our Tinderversary on the day we met in real life on October 24th, 2015.   Rachel was attracted to Alan's larger than life personality and thoughtfulness. Alan loved Rachel's fun-loving attitude and kindness. Our relationship evolved when Alan moved to NYC to pursue his career in 2017 and Rachel stayed in Pittsburgh. Rachel didn't think she could move for a man until her Maid of Honor asked, "If you won't move for love, what would you move for?" Thanks, Sarah! Rach moved to NYC in 2018 and we lived there until 2023. While celebrating Rachel's 30th in Thailand, Alan asked her to marry him. Then in classic Alan fashion, he returned to the city to get back to work while Rachel continued to travel Southeast Asia with her sister, Hannah. Alan was happy to miss out on hostel hopping. When Rach returned to NYC a couple months later, Alan picked her up from the airport ready for a change and with his letter of resignation ready. Together, we decided to leave NYC to move to Oahu where we've been happily living since. We are so excited to welcome you to our home and celebrate our love with you. We hope to see you soon!
