March 2022 - Aaron and Rachel matched on Hinge and went on their first date. Both had a good time, but the timing wasn't right and Rachel was wary about another date with someone from the internet... (Rachel's biggest life regret is "ghosting" Aaron after their first date.) July 2022 - Aaron and Rachel re-matched on Hinge. They decided to meet up again and catch up on the last few months. August 2022 - Things progressed quickly! We began imagining a future together and kept asking ourselves if we were crazy?! Aaron googled when it was appropriate to buy an engagement ring, and Rachel started telling her friends that she had found THE ONE. September 2022 - We celebrated Mexico's Independence Day, met each other's parents, and traveled to Chicago together to share our love of pizza! November 2022 - Aaron came to KY for Thanksgiving and met all of Rachel's extended family in one weekend. December 2022 - We went to CA with Aaron's friends and danced to the best 90s Mexican music from all genres. On December 17th we hosted our first annual Christmas party, and on December 18th, Aaron proposed after a perfect, relaxing Sunday together. We cannot wait to celebrate with all of you in May.
