If you take a train or bus, note that you will still need to arrange transportation around town. We will provide wedding-day transportation to and from the Hampton Inn Doylestown at 1570 Easton Rd. The Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm
* All wedding weekend events will be held at The Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm. Transportation on Saturday, October 12 to the ceremony and reception will be provided from The Hampton Inn Doylestown. Parking is also available. * The Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm is a historic Bucks County inn situated on over 100 acres of pasture and country gardens, a serene getaway just an hour north of Philadelphia, and two hours from New York City.
Peddler's Village
Just a two minute drive down the road from the Inn at Barley Sheaf, Peddler’s Village is a storybook village with charming colonial-style buildings, award-winning gardens, and distinctive shopping, dining, and lodging.
Michener Art Museum
An 11-minute drive from Barley Sheaf, the Michener Art Museum is an independent, non-profit cultural institution dedicated to preserving, interpreting and exhibiting the art and cultural heritage of the Bucks County region. The museum is named for Doylestown’s most famous son, the Pulitzer-Prize winning writer who first dreamed of a regional art museum in the early 1960s.
Ralph Stover State Park
An 18-minute drive from Barkley Sheaf, Ralph Stover State Park is only 1 of 3 state-run rock climbing areas in Pennsylvania. The park includes a shaded picnic area with drinking water, picnic tables, pavilions, fireplaces and restrooms along beautiful Tohickon Creek. Pass through many habitats as you stroll along the easy walking trails.
