Cynthia and Phil, like many couples during the pandemic, met online through an app called Coffee Meets Bagel. Cynthia had heard about the app through one of her best friends and now bridesmaid, Annie. About a week later, Phil and Cynthia began chatting on the app and they both realized a quick connection had been made. They met up for their first date in downtown Chicago. They both planned for a 30 - 45 min date. However, conversation flowed so naturally at dinner, they decided to walk around Chicago to continue chatting. Five hours later and many blisters on their feet (no really, our feet were so bloody from walking) the date ended and they parted ways. Phil thought it went great and already had begun thinking of ideas for a second date. Cynthia also thought the date went very well but wasn't quite sure on what to make of the departure. Since they had spent 6 hours together, Cynthia thought maybe a hug or even a pat on the arm would be appropriate. However, Phil decided that 2 finger guns would be the perfect way to say good-bye. Luckily she quickly moved past the finger guns and they went on a picnic date for their second date that Phil planned with Cynthia's favorite foods and music. And the rest is history!
