Frequently asked questions and answers!
Question

Answer

Theresa's # is (832) 322-0804 | Matthew's # is (612) 354-0324

Question

I heard something about a tea ceremony. Am I invited?

Answer

The tea ceremony takes place the morning of the wedding, and is only open to the bride and groom's family members. The tea ceremony is the formal gathering of both families and is when the bride and groom honor their family’s ancestors and relatives.

Question

My wedding invite didn't specify if I can bring a plus one... can I bring my spouse / significant other / a friend / child(ren)?

Answer

Everyone who we've invited is more than welcome to bring a plus one or children! We want everyone to have a good time, so bring whoever you'd like! We do ask, however, that you please write the names of anyone who will be attending the reception on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly! Thank you!

Question

The wedding invites said there will be an open bar at the reception. What will be offered?

Answer

Typically Cognac (such as Remy Martin or Hennessey) is the traditional liquor provided at Vietnamese weddings. The bar will offer Hennessey VSOP & Patron Silver as our liquor options, Yuengling and Bud Light as our beer options, and coke and sprite as mixers. We also plan to offer a couple specialty cocktails that evening. Regretfully, we will not have wine or other liquors available.

Question

I have dietary restrictions or allergies. Are you able to make accomodations?

Answer

Unfortunately, as the dishes are prepared and served family style, we will not be able to make individual accommodations. It is our hope that of the various courses provided, there will be something that you will be able to enjoy. If you are concerned about what to expect, please reach out either of us. We will be happy to let you know what will be served.

Question

What will the weather be like in Houston in early November?

Answer

November is one of the nicest months to visit the the Houston area. Their Fall usually begins around that time, as temperatures settle into the 70s during the day, and cool to the low 60s in the evening. Tropical storm season is typically in August and September, so hopefully we will steer clear of rainy and humid conditions.
