We actually 'met' on the dating site OKCupid, he was really straightfoward with me on what he was looking for which immediately caught my attention, I remember thinking to myself that he looked like a model in his profile picture. I was head over heels the minute I saw him.
For our first date, I met him at a Mexican restaurant he had been raving about for some time, El Jalapenos, which just now so happens to be our go to place to eat, sort of a tradition now. He ordered two soft tacos with chicken and a beer, I went overboard and ordered a 15 dollar quesadilla--he makes fun of me to this day for it. Once we left there, he talked me into coming over to his place to 'kick it' which apparently meant watch Moana and listen to him freestyle karaoke the whole film. I knew this was going to be something.
We went to Columbus, to visit a glass shop he had always wanted to go to, as well as the Columbus Art Museum, and tacos (obviously), on the way home we went to Olive Garden, where he nonchalantly asked if I'd be his girlfriend...about time, man.
On the first of November we made a trip up to Cleveland to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which he had never been to before, and as we were getting ready to leave, we walked out onto the bottom floor terrace on the rainy day that it was, and thats where he got on one knee. We are engaged!!
We cordially invite you to help us celebrate our special day as we tie the knot and begin our forever, together. Save the Dates and formal invitations to follow.
