Few people get the honor of having a friend like Isaiah. Meeting at Agora College and completing their undergrad together, Isaiah and David have shared apartments and memories for years. Isaiah is a youth pastor at David's home church of Word of Grace, and the two friends are continuing their education together at the graduate level. They've led teams to Thailand and Vietnam, served in academic leadership, and gotten in and out of trouble as brothers. You'll never meet a man more determined to better himself, work hard, love strongly, and learn from his mistakes
Rebekah Green

A bright and genuine soul, Rebekah is the sister Lauren always needed, and always will. She may be the baby of the family, but with that youth comes a spunk like no other. And even though she may have finally passed Lauren in height, the fight for arm wrestling champion continues on. The two have ventured across the universe together in their imaginations and crazy stories. No one has made a finer mermaid, super hero, or Lost Girl along side Lauren as Rebekah, and they wouldn't have it any other way. Sisters before misters may not have worked out after all... but Rebekah will always hold a special place in Lauren's heart.
Jonathan Elliott

There is no more iconic biblical friendship than the story of David and Jonathan. Like their namesakes, Jonathan has been David's oldest and longest standing friend. Meeting when they were 3 and 4 years of age at church, Jonathan quickly gave David his first lesson on the joys of having a brother. While most of their memories involve hours of designing imaginary kingdoms together, the two have built a bond that remains to this day. Jonathan is a talented and accomplished financial specialist, entrepreneur, husband, father, YWAM disciple, and visionary.
Michaela Crouch

Lovingly referred to as "The tall, smart one" out of Lauren's friend group, Michaela has been by her side for as long as she can remember. The two spent their childhood getting lost in the woods, having countless sleepovers, and dominating the competition at summer camp. Despite most of their friendship being semi-long distance, Michaela and Lauren spent two summers out of their college years rooming together. Michaela married the love of her life, Alex, in July of 2017 and Lauren had the honor of being one of her bridesmaids. Now, the roles will be reversed, and Lauren couldn't imagine saying "I do" without Michaela by her side.
Caleb Green

One does not simply explain all that Caleb is in a short paragraph. Priding himself on one of the precious few people who can make David laugh uncontrollably, David sees the addition of Caleb as an in-law as more of a bonus than he probably should. A man of immense artistic talent, Caleb has a bright future ahead of him in whatever path he chooses. He is a man of perception, memes, logic, creativity, and loyalty
Katie Gardner

Everyone has that one good friend you just click with. Nothing is too hard, crazy, or just plain weird for you guys. Katie is that friend for Lauren. The two met when they were 10 years old and quickly realized how much they had in common. Over the years, they have only grown closer through their love of theater, crafting, fashion, Fine Arts, and so much more. Katie may come off as quiet at first, but she's got a fire like no other... and she will gladly take credit for being the first one to call David and Lauren's relationship.

You know those people that seem to just excrete light and energy? If so, there's a high probability you've met Joshua Green. As Lauren's older brother, he prides himself on being the first sibling to know David's feelings for her. Sharing a sketchy guest room in Laos together, David and Josh have been through the thick and thin. Josh is fun loving, vibrant, and passionate yet holds a depth and maturity that is evident in his lifestyle. Recently he married the love of his life, Bex, and is excited to absorb David into the family

There are the friends you choose... and then there are the ones you're stuck with. Bex is in the unique position of being both. Lauren and Bex met in 2017 at UVF shortly before Bex started dating Lauren's oldest brother, Joshua. Lauren approved (and called it) right away, and she grew to consider Bex one of her closest friends on campus. Her fun personality and wise soul makes her a wonderful companion and confidant. Bex became an official part of the family when she married Josh in August of 2018, and Lauren gained another amazing sister as well. The two look forward to countless double dates and late-night Walmart runs in the future!
Daniel Conner

Daniel is a man of intellect, integrity, and affluence in all he does. He was David's first college roommate and the two used to regularly compete to see who could complete the entire semesters' work, first. Nothing is wasted in Daniel's life, as he is easily the most well read man of our generation and never stops learning. Now married to an incredible woman, Sara, Daniel has had the audacity to reproduce a beautiful baby girl named Sophia. A gentleman, scholar, husband, father, youth pastor, piano teacher, and aspiring missionary... Daniel will always be a dear friend who made an incredible impact on David's life
Gina Campagini

Gina and Lauren met on their first day of Junior year at UVF. Gina was the best RA a girl could ask for, and she immediately made the small campus feel like home. In summer of 2018, the two had the incredible opportunity to spend their internships in Japan. Living in a small room in a foreign country doing ministry together for eight weeks will either make or break a relationship, and (thankfully) this time it created a bond like no other. Gina's love of life is contagious and the wisdom she shares is beyond her years. Lauren is so excited to see where God takes the both of them in the future, and she's so glad Gina will be by her side on June 1st.

Ian is a man of incredible strength, wisdom, and patience. Through one of the most tremulous times David saw, Ian was a pillar of stability and comfort. Ian is one of David's quieter and less verbose friends and has consistently demonstrated the principle that still waters run deep. Like Christ, he speaks with power and conducts himself with stability and character. As roommates and partners, they've worked together in academic recruitment, Laos trip leadership, and even drove trucks together as caterers. He recently married one of David's other good friends, Ruth, and serves in life and ministry as a youth pastor
Emily Mansfield

Emily and Lauren's relationship is a rather unconventional one, but Lauren wouldn't change it for the world. The two first met on a middle school missions trip in 2008, and they continued to attend together for the next 8 years. Even though they only saw each other once or twice a year, the two's friendship only grew. In 2016, they both attended the same college and were roommates their freshmen year and on a school trip to Southeast Asia the follow spring. Lauren would describe Emily as one of the bubbliest and flexible (quite literally) people she knows. Although their years of doing summer missions trips together may be on hold, Emily will always be one of Lauren's closest friends.
Cullen Jarvis

You will never meet someone with more talent and humility in his generation. Cullen Jarvis is light years ahead of any his age in gifting, passion, and testimony. Your first interaction with him is one that will not fail to make you leave with a smile. No matter the stresses of his every day life, Cullen never fails to let joy permeate his every relationship. Cullen has been involved in David's life since his first day at Agora College. Now serving on staff at his local Church, the two have continued to grow a friendship that will last a lifetime

Corah is one of Lauren's childhood friends. They met in the same home school group and then continued to grow closer through an array of different activities. Some of Lauren's best memories with Corah include Fine Arts practices, summer camps, and corralling small children during Kid's Church on Sundays. They grew up on the same state route just a few miles away from each other. Even though they live in separate states for college now, Lauren will always be able to go back to her small town companion when she needs a good old fashion fried bread and pizza sauce meal.
Matthew "Hook" Winfree

When David needed help for an elaborate engagement scheme, who was the first one he contacted? Matt Winfree. He was one of David's first roommates as a freshman in college and was with him on his first overseas trip to Myanmar. A talented musician and husband to an amazing dancer, Matt is a humbling example to us all on how to live a lifestyle of worship. Matt gives 100% to everything he does and is passionate and logical, balanced with Godly wisdom. Whether David is seeking solace for a grief, a friend to celebrate with, or a swordsman to aid him (or attack him), there's no one more prevalent in his mind, than Matt.
Sophie Benco

Sophie and Lauren met at the University of Valley Forge in the fall of 2017. They lived in the same hall, worked together, and are now RAs of floors in the same building. Sophie currently lives directly below Lauren and the two bond over drawing the energy to get out of bed for classes from hearing the other one shuffling around in the morning. Sophie is one of the best peer mentors Lauren could ask for, and she encourages her to grow closer to the Lord everyday. Lauren will always remember Sophie as the person who taught her a rather unique way to dab and one of the women who stood next to her on the day she said "I do."
