We're getting Married!

Here we go, the awkward " Sooooo, how'd you meet?“ question. Okay, we admit it! We met online! All jokes aside though we never would have met each other if not for OkCupid. Meeting each other was worth every bad internet date we've ever been on — and we’ve been on a lot! Sometimes you find your best friend when you least expect it.

It was Brandon's birthday. I had planned a surprise party for him at Top Golf. We had a great day hanging out with his friends, enjoying lot's of laughs over how terrible I was at hitting the ball. Let's just say it was a lot of swings and misses ( kinda like our dating lives before we met each other... see what I did there?!) It was a good day. We ended the evening by watching "Black Panther" at our favorite movie theatre. During the movie, I was freezing ( as I always am) and asked Brandon for his hoodie. Little did I know that the ring was in his hoodie pocket the whole time! Poor guy couldn't even focus on the movie, he was so nervous that I'd discover the ring. After the movie ended we headed home. Once home,I turned and said, " Were you surprised?" At that point he says "Yes, and I have a surprise for you!" He got down on one knee and popped the question. Of course, I burst into tears and said yes! The rest is history... Who knew we both had such big surprises in store that day! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
