Flight
Evansville Regional Airport
A lot of people think a direct flight to Indianapolis or Louisville will be easier than flying to Evansville, but we actually love using the Evansville airport! There are daily connections to Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta and Charlotte, which usually means within the US you can connect to Evansville with 1 layover. This airport is also very quick to get in and out of! An uber from the airport to the downtown will usually be about a 15 minute trip for $20

River Kitty Cat Cafe
We went to River Kitty on our first date! It holds a special place in our hearts, and its always fun to go see what the kitties are up to. You pay to get into the petting room, but that money is donated to the local humane society - totally worth it!
Self.e Alley (Evansville Mural Art)
Take a picture while you are out for a walk in this cute little alley, decorated with well known and loved murals representing our little city!
Parlor Doughnuts
Parlor Doughnuts started as a small local business and now they have over 100 locations and are still growing! The downtown Evansville location is the flagship store. We love the breakfast tacos, the Sandy Beach donut and especially their iced coffee!
River City Coffee + Goods
This is another great coffee stop downtown! This shop is all about supporting local businesses. They have some great local goods and really delicious lattes (try the Ube!). If you are looking for a T shirt to brag about visiting Evansville Indiana, this is where you will find it :)
High Score Saloon
We are lucky to have 2 arcade bars within walking distance of each other in Downtown Evansville! High score is our favorite. Most of the classic arcade game are free to play, but you might bring a few dollars for ski ball, guitar hero, or Hannah's personal favorite - the Pokemon claw machine. If you need a late night snack the tots are amazing!
Arcademie
We love Arcademie, especially for the multiplayer packman and Crazy Taxi! Skiball and the pinball machines are also free here (not like High Score). If you venture upstairs they have a lounge with a specialty drinks menu
Evansville riverwalk
We have enjoyed many walks along the Evansville Riverfront! If you are staying downtown there are crosswalks to the Riverfront path, or if you need parking head to the Evansville Museum and you will find plenty of spaces! Walk past the playground and skate park to find some nice swings with a view
Bally's Evansville Casino & Hotel
Head to Bally's if you are in the mood for some gambling! This is still on our date night bucketlist but its popular with visitors!
