Let's set the scene... The year is 2020 and we are in the middle of a pandemic. No better time like now to download dating apps, right?! Tyler liked one of Patty's photos on her profile. Patty responded to his "like." That day, they messaged non-stop, allllll day! Tyler asked for Patty's phone number and they met a few days later. Tyler couldn't let Patty get away so after two weeks of dating, he asked her to be his girlfriend and Patty said, "yes." They both knew there was something special between them. Needless to say, they both deleted Hinge off their phone! Fast forward to September 2022! Tyler and Patty went on an adventure to Seattle, WA and Tyler suggested they visit Alaska since they were so close. They made their way to Fairbanks, Alaska and later Chena Hot Springs, Alaska. There, they toured an ice museum. Inside the museum was a beautiful ice castle. The tour guide explained that the two artist who are responsible for the ice sculptures married in that ice castle. Shortly after, Tyler and Patty asked someone to take a picture of them in the castle. Tyler handed over his phone and whispered something to the person taking their picture. To Patty's surprise, Tyler went to Patty for the "picture" and got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. She of course said, "yes!" Now, they plan on having a destination elopement! In February of 2023, they are off to marry and begin their greatest adventure yet - a lifetime as husband and wife! #PattyTysTheKnot
