Carolyn has chosen Ruff Start STX. Which is a nonprofit organization located on St. Croix. Their mission is to proactively search out the dogs who can’t search for themselves. In addition they offer educational youth programs to encourage animal compassion and advocacy in their everyday lives.
Adam has chosen The Hospice House. The Hospice House, owned and operated by the Hospice Foundation of the South, allows terminally ill patients a place to live out their final days in a home setting with family while having the support of their hospice program and around the clock caregivers. The house is supported by supplies, donations, and financial support from the community. There is no source of local, state, or federal government funding. This is the only home of this type in the community.
