A few years, 3 rescheduled wedding days, and one beautiful little son later... We are thrilled to gather our closest family and friends together for our Vow Renewal. It is an opportunity to (finally) celebrate with the people we love, exchange our vows, (wear my wedding dress- Yarden), and... throw an epic party. We hope you can join us for a weekend of festivities in Miami!
It was a chilly fall day in September 2014. Taylor, four days into his first job out of university, went on the company deal page and saw a blonde headed girl with strange name from New York. Taylor closed his first deal on day 4, and shortly after, he gets a “congratulations on your deal” message in his email from this same blonde headed girl… Yarden Sartena. Naturally, the message prompted him to go on the offensive and put the wheels in motion, better known as GO TIME. Shortly after, he messaged his best friend Carl to inquire about Yarden: [10/1/2014 7:16:49 AM] Taylor Palmer: i want to meet yarden thats why i want to go to NY [10/1/2014 7:16:49 AM] Taylor Palmer: i think i love her [10/1/2014 7:16:52 AM] Carl Trivieri: hahaha [10/1/2014 7:17:01 AM] Taylor Palmer: haha [10/1/2014 7:17:09 AM] Taylor Palmer: were going for sure ive never been to NY [10/24/2014 12:19:00 PM] Taylor Palmer: i have a feeling im going to marry her [10/24/2014 12:19:08 PM] Taylor Palmer: and im not usually wrong about those things Well, the wheels were certainly in motion. After a few in-person encounters in Toronto, Miami, and Washington DC, the chemistry was undeniable. Yarden made a quick move to invite Taylor to visit New York. The only issue.... Taylor was moving to Vancouver. Vancouver is a 6 hour flight away. In spite of this, Taylor decided to "pull trigg" on a flight to New York over his last weekend on the east coast. About a week later, in April 2015, he came blaring into Yarden's NYC Studio apartment singing Frank Sinatra’s "New York, New York" at the top of his lungs. It was a whirlwind 48 hours exploring the city- strolling through central park, hitting as many rooftops as possible, hopping around meatpacking, enjoying Sunday brunch with Yarden's brother Ron drinking unlimited Bloody Marys on Stone Street, and capping off with a romantic sunset in Battery Park. When the epic NYC weekend came to an end, we both knew that this was something special. So much so, that even the Central Park bench we sat on was marked with the words "...and the magic continues." The universe was conspiring to make sure we fell in love. Taylor jetted off to Vancouver the next week. Well, it turns out we are both a little crazy. And we both fell crazy in love. Distance couldn't stop us. But border shutdowns did hinder our plans... FINALLY, we are so excited for the opportunity to bring together the most special people in our lives - to exchange our vows, and witness the magic continue.
