Anna and I have known one another since high school. Our paths crossed many times during high school, thanks to youth group events our churches hosted together. However, both of us would agree that we were not close. Life took us our separate ways. I went to OSU (Go Buckeyes), and Anna went to WVU (Horns Down), and it was close to a decade before we reconnected. Thanks to a mutual friend (shout out, Patrick), Anna and I met for dinner in February 2024. In typical man fashion, Anna's signals flew right over my head. Luckily, I eventually got the bright idea to ask Patrick how Anna felt about me, and to my excitement, he clearly stated, "dude, she's into you." This was just the clear signal I needed, unlike Anna's many cryptic signals (Anna, when you read this, I'm joking.) Anna was exactly the woman I was praying for God to put in my life; she is a woman who is striving for sainthood, she loves Christ above all else, she is smart, funny, quirky, kind, caring, and last but not least, absolutely beautiful. Fast-forward 19 months, and on the Feast Day of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, I finally made the smartest decision of my life: I asked the love of my life to allow me the honor and privilege of becoming her husband. Anna and I could not be more excited to enter into this sacrament together, and we are so happy that you will be with us to celebrate our marriage.
