Mike and Lauren both joined Bumble in 2019 looking for their forever person. After swiping right on each other's profile and matching Lauren messaged Mike on November 2nd, 2019. Little did she know that "Hi Mike! " would change both of their lives forever. On December 14th, 2019 after a month of talking, they decided it was time they meet in person, and what better place than El Vez as they had found out they both shared a love for Mexican cuisine. Over tacos and tequila, they talked for two hours nonstop and Mike knew he had found someone special. Lauren felt like she could talk to Mike for hours and when the date came to the end she walked him to his car and awkwardly asked if she could give him a hug. On the way home Lauren texted her best friend saying how much she enjoyed the date and asked for advice for when she should reach out to Mike again. Her friend replied, "I'd wait at least 24 hours". Luckily she wouldn't need to take that advice because before she got home a text popped up from Mike saying "I had a really good time, would love to do it again soon!" And let's just say the rest was history!
