Answer

We will be following the latest COVID-19 guidance to have the safest event possible. Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is a parking lot at the venue.

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Yes, a hotel block has been arranged at the Courtyard by Marriott Danbury with discounted rates. To book a room , click on the "Travel" tab of the website and either call the hotel with the provided code or click on the "View" button to book online. The shuttle has been set up to transport guests to and from the hotel block. An insert with all booking information will also be included with your invitation.

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

A shuttle will be provided to bring guests to and from the hotel block. A more detailed schedule will be provided closer to the wedding.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The average temperature for this time of year is approximately 65 degrees. The ceremony will be outside so a light jacket may be useful. Definitely keep an eye on the weather! It is the end of rainy season so you might want to pack an umbrella just in case.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is going to be held outdoors. The reception will be indoors.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, guests can head straight to the cocktail hour where we will be serving drinks as well as passed hors d'oeuvres/appetizers.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by Friday, April 1st using the RSVP card provided with the invitation.

Question

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

There will be vegetarian options during both cocktail hour and during the reception. You will be able to select your meal on the RSVP card when invitations are sent out.
