These are a few of our favorite local haunts - maybe you'll like them too! But also - if you have a moment, definitely take a trip into the mountains! Set your map app to "Evergreen Lake" and you'll get some great nature but not have to go too far! Otherwise, these places are real close and real nice:

Denver Museum of Nature & Science

2001 Colorado Boulevard, Denver, CO 80205

Olivia proposed to Alex in the photobooth at DMNS (that little picture above was just after it happened.) It's one of our favorite places in Denver. It has dinosaur skeletons, a great view, quite the array of taxidermy animals, an exhibit that makes you feel like you're in a spaceship, and so many good rocks.

Lady Justice Brewing Company

3242 South Acoma Street, Englewood, CO 80110

Lady Justice is the incredible LGBTQ owned and operated brewery that Al works at one day a week (because it definitely makes sense for a social worker who works full time to have another job). It does make sense though - because Lady J is our home away from home and has connected us to so many folks we love. Also its just great beer.

Center for Colorado Women's History

1310 Bannock Street, Denver, CO 80204

One of Olivia's favorite places to nerd out and produce art - a women's history museum inside a historic Colorado house! CCWH is also across from the Denver Art Museum which really is incredible - and the History Colorado Center is down the street which is very fun and historical!
