Village of Montgomery
At the heart of Montgomery, is a cute village with a few of Kristen and Alex’s favorite restaurants. If you’re looking for a good cup of coffee, you can check out Java Blue. If you are looking for a place to grab dinner, Alex and Kristen love 88 Charles St, Ward’s Bridge Inn, and RoseMary’s Pub.
Angry Orchard Cider House
The national cider brand has its home right here in the Hudson Valley.
Woodbury Common Premium Outlets
If you enjoy outlet shopping, this is the place to go! It is a large tourist attraction, so be prepared for large amounts of people if planning to go on the weekend. Stores range from: Gucci and Saks Off Fifth to Levi's and Lululemon.
Main Street Beacon
Main street in Beacon is filled with lots of small shops, cafe's/coffee shops, and restaurants. It's the perfect place to walk around and grab a bite to eat! Over the weekend, parking can be a bit tricky if you choose to go later in the morning/afternoon.
New York City
Since we have quite a few guests traveling quite a distance, if you are looking to head outside of town, you can grab a train via Metro North (there is a station in Beacon) that will take you into Grand Central. Since it is December, you will be able to head into the city to check out the Rockefeller Center Tree, Bryant Park Christmas Villages, etc.
