Questions

Question

Dresscode

Answer

The bride and groom request that all guests adhere to a formal black-tie dress code. Think: sophisticated, elegant, and suited for a formal evening celebration. When in doubt, it’s always better to be slightly overdressed than underdressed. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!

Question

Where should we stay & how do we get there?

Answer

Please see the Travel & Lodging page for details!

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

No, while we love your children and babies, our ceremony and reception will be adults-only celebrations. If not all of your children are listed on the invitation, this is because children under the age of 18 are not allowed at the reception.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Ceremony and Reception will be inside. The cocktail hour is inside/outside with a covered patio. If it is cold, there will be heaters.

Question

What’s the weather in April?

Answer

The weather in Boise in April typically ranges from highs in the low 70s to lows in the low 40s.

Question

Is there parking at the venues?

Answer

Parking is limited outside the church, so we recommend using a ride-share service like Uber or Lyft if possible. The hotel offers parking and valet service.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at least 15–20 minutes before the ceremony begins so you can find your seat and settle in. We’ll be starting promptly. Please remember, the ceremony is taking place in an older church, late arrivals can be heard throughout the space.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we’d like to keep the guest list limited to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited is clearly listed on your invitation, and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep our wedding unplugged and refrain from taking any photos or videos during the ceremony. We want our guests to truly be present with us during this special moment. However, feel free to take photos at the reception!

Question

Answer

Question

I still have questions—who can I contact?

Answer

Feel free to reach out to Emilia or Brendan!
