FAQs

The Wedding Website of Nicole Nordahl and Carter Lewis
Question

Is the venue safe for children?

Answer

Some of you may have received an invite that includes your children whom we love! Our venue, however, is not the safest place for children. The venue has a large open body of water and no one to watch if a child were to fall in. Please take this into consideration if you are bringing young children. If you feel confident you can watch your child/children the entire time - great! If you are concerned about this and the safety of your child, please consider finding alternate childcare and let us know how many people in your family will be in attendance.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Some of you will have gotten a guest invitation with your wedding invite. This is for your date. If you did not receive one, then you are not allowed a plus one. Food, drinks, and seating all rely on our guest count to be accurate! That being said, please don't hesitate to text us if you didn't receive a plus one and would really like to bring one and that can be discussed.

Question

Can I bring my own alcohol??

Answer

NO! Please do not bring outside alcohol to our venue. It is against the venue's rules, and you may be asked to leave.

Question

Is this an outdoor event?

Answer

Yes and No. We have an option to have an outdoor ceremony depending on weather. But its May in Idaho and the weather changes every 5 minutes! If it rains the Ceremony will be held in the chapel onsite. Our reception is held inside the main building - you will be free to roam the property and play outdoor games like corn hole if the weather permits.

Question

What's served at the bar?

Answer

We will have hosted water, bubbly water, and soda options. We will also have a Cash/Card/Venmo bar which has beer, wine and canned margaritas. Please remember to bring cash or card if you plan on drinking alcoholic beverages. Please remember to not bring outside alcohol to venue or you could be asked to leave by the bartenders.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is Semi-Formal or Dressy Casual. Whatever you feel is comfortable but still dressed to impress. The ceremony will be outside with a sunny 75 in the forecast. We will be providing paper fans for use during the ceremony. Examples would be women in dresses, rompers, or skirts and men wearing a nice button up and slacks or black jeans. Denim jeans are permitted for men if you're going for a fancy cowboy look ;) please make sure your denim is not ripped or stained. NO WHITE, please and thank you. If you would like to differentiate yourselves from the bridal party our bridesmaids will be in an array of colors and groomsmen will being wearing black and white.
