FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 12, 2024.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The whole weekend is casual, including the wedding which will primarily be outdoors. We encourage comfort for sitting, standing, and karaoking! Heels are not recommended since we'll be in grassy areas, but please wear whatever makes you feel like the best version of yourself.

Question

Why is it BYOB?

Answer

To respect the groom's lifestyle, we will not be providing alcohol, but have no qualms with guests bringing their own! We do recommend Warsaw Wine & Spirits and have secured a 15% discount for all our wedding guests! I will have coupons for everyone interested!

Question

Are pets welcome?

Answer

We kindly ask that you do not bring your furry friends. While our home is overly friendly to pets, with all the excitement of the weekend, it would be too much to manage our little menagerie + additional friends.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome! Please keep in mind there will be campfires burning and our large dogs will be around. They are friendly and...enthusiastic. There won't be any child-specific entertainment, but karaoke and lawn games will be entertaining.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Please see the Registry tab on this website to see what we're in need of.

Where to Stay and How to Get Here

Warsaw is a small spot equidistant between Buffalo and Rochester. There aren't LOTS of options, but we've included helpful info. You could likely get an AirBnB nearby as well. Feel free to check with us about locations before you book!

Hotel

Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Warsaw

287 North Main Street, Warsaw, NY 14569
 (585) 228-9479

This is the only hotel actually in Warsaw and is less than 1.5 miles from the house. Try the link as it negotiates deals every day. We’re unable to get a block, but there are still rooms available.

Hotel

The East Hill Inn

5584 U.S. 20A, Warsaw, NY 14569

For more of a Schitt's Creek experience, the East Hill Inn is just up the hill to the east (aptly named!) of Warsaw, mere minutes from the house.

Hotel

Glen Iris Inn

Castile, NY 14427

There are several unique lodging options at Letchworth State Park, including those that can accommodate groups. Letchworth is about a 20-minute drive to Warsaw, but it is especially gorgeous in the autumn. Book early to compete with seasonal leaf peepers!

Flight

Buffalo or Rochester

We are equidistant between Buffalo and Rochester if you plan to fly in. Rental cars will be needed as there are no shuttles that run between either city and Warsaw.

Things To Do

Letchworth State Park Upper Falls

Letchworth State Park Upper Falls

Hunt, NY 14846

This state park is about a 20-minute drive from Warsaw. It is called the "Grand Canyon of the East," and has multiple waterfalls (Upper Falls pictured), as well as hiking trails, campsites, and more! In October, it is definitely worth visiting to see the seasonal colors. Our welcome dinner will be at the St. Helena pavilion in the park on Friday night!

Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls, NY 14303

If you've never been to Niagara Falls (or maybe it's been a long time), what better time to take a peek? Just over an hour drive from Warsaw, you can see the famed waterfalls and give a wave to our neighbors to the north.

Billy Club

Billy Club

228 Allen Street, Buffalo, NY 14201

If you're interested in exploring the Buffalo area, grab a bite at Josh's restaurant!

Yummies Ice Cream

Yummies Ice Cream

If you don't get your fill of Yummies at the wedding, be sure to stop by to try their wide range of delicious ice cream flavors and treats.

Charcoal Corral

Charcoal Corral

7037 Chapman Avenue, Perry, NY 14530

This drive-in theater meets western Chuck E Cheese and has great pizza, mini-golf, and more! It's less than a 20-minute drive from Warsaw.

Deer Run Winery

Deer Run Winery

3772 West Lake Road, Geneseo, NY 14454

The Finger Lakes are nearby and have loads of wineries. The nearest to Warsaw is only 35 minutes away. If you love wine, it's worth a visit! Note: we haven't visited but we think it's a great option to explore.
