Why is there a gap between the ceremony and reception? What should we do?

Answer

Indian weddings typically have a gap between the ceremony and receptions to allow time for the wedding party and families to take pictures and change outfits. We recommend either going back to your hotel room for a short rest (and potentially change of clothes) or picking an activity off of the "Things To Do" section of our website.

What will the food options be?

Answer

The food at the reception will be buffet style. We will be serving mostly traditional South Indian cuisine (vegetarian) but will also have a pasta option. Snacks will be served at the ceremony.

Will there be a cookie table?

Answer

Yes! There will be a cookie table at the reception. We welcome and appreciate anybody who wants to bring cookies! (For those unfamiliar, this is a Pittsburgh tradition)
