Kunj and Nidhi first met in college at IUPUI in 2015. They caught each other's attention at a typical college party. After introducing themselves, they played party games and danced the night away! A couple of weeks later, Kunj asked Nidhi out on a date; although Nidhi originally rejected, that didn't stop Kunj! Due to Kunj's persistence and generosity, Nidhi finally caved and decided to try out one date. Kunj picked a sushi restaurant as the first date. Fortunately, Nidhi's favorite cuisine is sushi...& as you know, the rest is history!

Nidhi was gearing up for the Fall Festival weekend in Evansville with her best friends, but little did she know that they were all planning the perfect proposal weekend behind her back! On the day of the proposal, the whole group started off at the Fall Festival, stuffing their faces with all kinds of yummy fried foods. In the meantime, Nidhi and Kunj's families were making their way to the Newburgh Riverfront for the special event. After Kunj's long, meaningful speech he got down on one knee and popped the question we had all been waiting for! Kunj and Nidhi's friends and family enjoyed their unforgettable moment together as the surprises stacked one after another, with dinner, drinks, and speeches for the rest of the night.
