Tim and Nicole met through a set-up from their mutual friend/match-maker, Jenna. As one of Nicole's best friends from college and one of Tim's roommates in NYC, Jenna knew they would hit it off. With neither very eager for a blind set-up, Jenna tricked them into meeting at a Super Bowl Party in 2017. A few weeks later, they met again for a true date and the rest was history!

After their set-up, Tim wasted no time asking Nicole on a date and the two went for a romantic dinner one Friday night in NYC. Although there were some first date jitters, they quickly noticed a very natural and easy spark. Not wanting the night to end, they went to a bar after, where they shared the first of many laughs and lasting memories.

In July of 2022, Tim asked Nicole to marry him while on vacation in Cancun, Mexico. After the stress of traveling with the ring in secret, Tim proposed on the second night of their trip, while overlooking the beautiful resort and ocean view from their balcony. They celebrated with a romantic dinner, lots of Champagne, and a week's worth of beach and sun! Leading up to the engagement, Tim and Nicole shared in the experience of designing the engagement ring together. While symbolizing their life-long partnership, the engagement ring also holds great sentimental value, as it contains accent diamonds from Nicole's grandmother, Josephine's, wedding rings.
