Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 1st so we can provide our final guest count to our vendors. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

No. The ceremony and reception will take place at two different locations. Ceremony: St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Plano 2700 Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, TX 75023 Reception: Sparrow on Main 105 E Main St, Lewisville, TX 75057 The reception venue is about 30 minutes from the church. Because of this, we recommend booking a hotel closer to the reception venue for convenience after the celebration.

Question

What should I expect during the Catholic wedding Mass?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place within a Catholic Mass, which includes Scripture readings, prayers, and the celebration of the Eucharist, and will last about 60 minutes. You may notice guests standing, sitting, or kneeling at different points; please feel free to participate as you are comfortable. During Communion, practicing Catholics may come forward to receive, while others are welcome to remain seated or come forward with arms crossed for a blessing. We are grateful to celebrate this sacrament with all of our family and friends.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Early August in Dallas, Texas is typically hot, sunny, and humid. Average daytime highs are around 93–96°F, with evening temperatures usually in the mid-70s to low-80s. Because of the humidity, the “feels like” temperature can often reach 100–105°F during the day.

Question

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 2pm. We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes early so you have time to find your seat before everything begins.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail / Formal Elegant cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or formal gowns. Bridesmaids are in various shades of pink. Suits and ties encouraged; tuxes welcome but not required. Please refrain from wearing jeans. August in Texas is hot and humid, so breathable fabrics are encouraged. Church and reception will have AC.
