Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We would love everyone join in the celebration, however we are strictly limited by Covid-19 regulations. Each invitation is addressed to the appropriate attendees and unless otherwise stated, no extra plus ones are permitted.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Similar to plus ones and due to strict Covid-19 limitations, little ones are only invited if named on the invitations. Thank you for your understanding.

Where is the venue?

Answer

If you have never visited the venue(s), a pin location with detailed directions will be sent to you via WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger 48 hours before the wedding. Please use your RSVP to indicate your request.

What type of venue can I expect?

Answer

The blessing ceremony venue is Nicole's family's farm. It will be on the grass in front of a beautiful little river. The reception will take place under the stars in the courtyard of an elegant, modern restaurant.

Where can I park?

Answer

For the ceremony, follow the signs to direct you through the farm and you will easily find the designated parking space. For the reception, there will be car guards to direct you outside the restaurant - parking will be roadside.

Will there be security?

Answer

Yes! Both events will have security present to keep a watchful eye on the event & the cars.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

May in Zambia usually promises warm sunshine during the afternoon and cool breezes in the evenings. We will be outside for both events. Perhaps consider a wrap or a light jacket for the evening. If you'll be on the dancefloor with us, you definitely won't need it!

Can I use my smartphone to take pictures?

Answer

Sure, we would love to see captured moments from your perspective. Try to refrain from using your phones too much. There will be teams of the great photographers and videographers. We urge you to leave it to the professionals and do not obstruct them! Remember to put your phones on silent to avoid any disruptions :)

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Grab a mocktail, mingle and have a photo with us! Afterwards, you're free to return to your accommodation for a couple hours of relaxation before the reception.

What should I wear?

Answer

Semi-formal attire for the ceremony. Ladies, a jumpsuit or a midi dress are great and appropriate options (remember, no stilettos). Gentlemen, you'd look great in smart pants with a tucked shirt. Formal attire for the reception. Changing is recommended but not mandatory. Dress to impress and make sure its something you can dance in! Ladies, now's your chance to wear that maxi dress (stilettos welcome). Gents, a blazer would tie it all together. Normal conduct applies - no white! (yes, that includes off-whites and creams!)

Should I bring a gift?

Answer

Gifts are not mandatory, but would be greatly appreciated. We welcome monetary gifts of any amount towards the honeymoon. Contact us for our bank details :)
