We met at a house party at URI during a mutual friend's birthday party. After that party, we kept in touch and Nick attended Becca's sorority formal in the winter of 2011. We became "official" on New Year's Day 2012 and have been in love ever since! Although we had to endure the distance for the beginning years of our relationship, it was worth the wait.

We were headed to Mystic, CT for a mini vacation with Nick's parents. As we were approaching Mystic, Nick's Dad took us to Stonington Point, where you could see both Rhode Island and New York at the same time. We were enjoying the view when Nick came over to take a picture. As Nick's mom went to take the picture, Nick got down on one knee and asked the big question! It was an amazing moment, followed by a surprise lunch with Becca's family there to celebrate!
