When its not "Riss and Nick" its "Riss and Von." They became best friends their Junior year of High School and by their Senior year, Von & Riss were living together. Von is more than a best friend; She is a sister, a role model, and Riss’ sanity. When Lavonne isn't peeling the layers of life with Marissa, she is a busy god mother, a dog mom, a girlfriend, and a full time nurse. She spends her time caring for everyone around her and putting others first. Lavonne has been this way since we were 16, and has only grown into a stronger more beautiful person. Marissa is honored to have Judith as her Maid of Honor.
Nico John
Best Man
Nico is more than a best man, to Nick. He is Nick's better half, his brother, his best friend, and the Uncle Rico to Beanz. Nico and Nick have held break dance battles in the dark alleys of San Francisco and arm wrestling competitions in backyards. They are born one day apart and have been stuck at the hip ever since. They dont call him The Godfather for nothin'.

Nick and Willy met in Ms. Blout's first grade class. Willy was fascinated with Nick's awesome bowl haircut. He had never seen anything so amazing in his life! Being at a new school, Nick had never been more terrified and Willy welcoming him and made him feel right at home. They have grown up together and shared many memories. Even though they could not be more opposite in likes and hobbies, they are still best friends. Ms. Blout saw the bond that they held in the first grade, and predicted that they would one day be in each others weddings.

Both being new to the city, and working at Whole Foods, Marissa and Daisy quickly grew to become best friends. Meeting at such an exciting time in their lives, they have been fortunate enough to enjoy many new & exciting adventures with one another. Miss Daisy is dearly treasured and is Marissa's key to San Francisco.
