Please arrive at 5:30 pm. This is when guests will be welcome on the venue property. The ceremony will begin at 5:45 pm.
Cocktail Attire Men, please wear a jacket. Women, please keep heel width in mind as the ceremony and cocktail hour are on grass. No denim.
While the venue does offer parking, we recommend ubering to the venue if you are planning on having adult beverages. We are going to provide a shuttle back to downtown at the end of the night.
Although we love your children, this is an adult only event.
Please only bring a guest if your invitation was addressed with a guest. Thank you for understanding.
All events (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception) are planned to be outdoors.
Of course!
We have a hotel block at Hilton Salt Lake City Center in downtown SLC. Please go to our travel page on our website to get a direct link for booking through our block. If you would like to stay at a different hotel, we recommend staying somewhere close to the Hilton if you plan to use our shuttle service from the venue at the end of the evening as this will be the drop off location. Additionally, there are lots of Airbnb and VRBO options in Salt Lake City and Ubers are also plentiful once you get back to the downtown area.
Yes! You can access it right from our website.
The welcome picnic will be held about 15 minutes outside of downtown SLC. There is free parking available close to the pavilion and along the street. While appetizers and snacks will be provided, guests will be responsible for their own dinner plans Thursday evening. Check our Things To Do section for recommended restaurants and bars! Additionally, please note that our permit does not allow alcoholic beverages. Non-alcoholic refreshments will be provided.
Over the past few years we have had beautiful weather in the beginning of October with a high temp in the 70s. However, the venue is in the mountains and the party will go into the evening (outdoors). While we will provide outdoor heat lamps and blankets, a jacket isn't a bad idea.
