We're getting married! We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Nick and Kortnie met at Jackson Christian school-she was in sixth grade and he was in seventh. They became great friends that bonded over their height difference (I know it sounds silly but hey they were kids). He was her "tall buddy" and she was his "short buddy". (Nick claims this was his form of flirting lol) He even gave her the nickname that has stuck 9 years later as some of you may know- Shortnie. Flash forward six years, Kortnie's best friend, who happened to still be very close with Nick, reconnected them after not seeing or speaking for years after moving schools. A few days after, he asked her on a date that Kortnie states "could not have went any better". After only a few dates Covid hit but these two chose to make the most of it. They went through quarentine together and have been inseperable ever since! It was the easiest YES when Nick asked Kortnie to marry him in the SAME place he asked her to be his girlfriend three and a half years earlier.
