We met in 2017 when I (Jenn) was hired as a 3rd grade teacher at my current and his now former school site. Nick was teaching 5th grade at the time, and we spent the first few years working together exchanging the casual “hey, how are you doing” pleasantries in hallways and at staff meetings. At the end of my second year of teaching, my team and I found out that Nick would be transferring over to 3rd grade from 5th. It took a few years, but we eventually had our first date at Disneyland last summer. Everything took off from there, and we’re very excited to embark on this next chapter together.
