Hello everyone! For those of you who don't know, Nic and Bekah met at a local, well-loved restaurant known as Randy's Burgers. Right off the bat, Bekah was annoyed by his outspoken, opinionated personality, but it didn't take long for the two to grow accustomed to each other. At some point, they tolerated each other, Bekah surviving the long work days by teasing and pranking him relentlessly. Nic was not quite as mean, being a good sport throughout her shenanigans. As their relationship developed into that of friendly coworkers, Bekah and her peers began noticing an increased fondness on Nic’s part. Throughout his shift, he would gravitate towards whatever station Bekah was assigned to, giving her more attention than he did others. Bekah grew a soft spot for Nic as well, although if you were to ask about her reciprocation of his feelings at the time, she would adamantly deny them. Over chili fries and grilled cheeses, milkshakes and patty melts, the two debated, annoyed, and teased each other to no end, sometimes neglecting their duties to do so. They carried this relationship over into their work group chat, and eventually, this developed into daily private messages to each other. Finally, the impending question was asked…would Bekah attend a basketball game with Nic? After much debate on what to say, Bekah politely said yes (of course). So, in a high school gymnasium fully decked out with various gold and black tiger decor, the two started a new relationship together. And the rest is, as they say, history.
“Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 KJV “And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.” 1 Corinthians 13:13 KJV “We love him, because he first loved us.” 1 John 4:19 KJV “Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” 1 John 4:10 KJV “My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.” 1 John 3:18 KJV “And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.” Colossians 3:14 KJV “And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.” Ruth 1:16-17 KJV
