I have found that no relationship can quite compare to the bond between brothers. I would not be who I am today if it weren’t for my close brotherhood with Timothy. He has been my best friend, my criminal accomplice, and my shoulder to lean on. Through highs and lows, ups and downs, trials and fires, I know I can always count on Timothy not just as my brother but as my best friend. There’s no one else in this world I’d rather have stand by me as my best man for this special day.

My confidant, consistent shoulder to lean on, the mother to two of my favorite children, and my biggest encourager. Madison has always been just a call away (and 5 minutes down the road) with wisdom to share and a whole lot of love to extend. I could not imagine where I would be without her listening ear and amazing hugs. She has been by my side and watched Nathanael & I's relationship grow & blossom. I wouldn't want to celebrate this special day without her cheering us on!

Our friendship has always reminded me of David and Jonathan, a bond reaching further than common interests to a much deeper spiritual connection. Yet somehow the most obscure parts of our personality tends to come out around one another, usually leading to tears of laughter. It is safe to say we are both equally excited to become brothers.

My wonderfully kind & sweet little sister, Karis. She knows how to make you feel special and loved just by being herself. Ever since she was little, she’s had such a big heart and so much love to share with the world. She has shown me what it looks like to give and not expect anything in return. She has always rooted for Nathanael & me so don’t be surprised if you see her crying tears of joy on this happy day (maybe hand her a tissue).
Andrew Holder

I’m not sure if it’s his military background or his warming personality but Andrew Holder is one of the most loyal, dependable, and giving people I know. Even though we’ve only known each other for a few years, Andrew has been there for me through thick and thin. Literally… chocolate chip cookie movie nights and gym days with mui thai. I’m not in the military but there’s not much I wouldn’t give for this soldier.

My resilient, spunky & absolutely hilarious littlest sister. If you’ve ever been around Ava, you probably left with your sides aching from laughing so hard. I have loved watching Ava grow and blossom into who she is today. She has gone through many trials but through them, she has taught me how to not be afraid but rather trust that God is in control. I can’t wait to have her by my side on this special day.

Kris is the third member of an infamous trifecta of lasting best friends. This special day could not be complete without one of my absolute funniest friends by my side. Anyone who knows Kristopher knows that he laughs a lot and loves even more. I’m so thankful he will be alive to see this day after he nearly choked to death one night 3AM while Declan and I laughed at him. He lived to tell the tale though…

The older sister I’ve always wanted and Nathanael has, Esther has been one of my biggest role models and inspirations. She has been a part of my life since I can remember and someone I knew I could always turn to. Her fun and funky style & the genuine care she has for people has always been inspiring. She has been one of our biggest supporter so we couldn't imagine sharing this special day without her. With her adventurous spirit & bright demeanor, we can’t wait for her to bring the party!

Jalen is a brother by choice, in-law by marriage, and best friend since day one. I would not be who I am today if it weren’t for the things he imparted to me as a young teenager. Jalen has inspired, encouraged, and pushed me to be the person I am today. From skills, knowledge, experience, and laughter I could never do life without Jalen Mauk.

The sister to the groom and another one of my biggest role models. Elisabeth carries herself with so much poise & grace and extends kindness & a helping hand wherever she goes. I have known Elisabeth for as long as I can remember and have always strived to be as witty & fun but also as calm & collected as she is. She has shown me what a consistent walk with God looks like no matter what life may bring. We are so happy to have her (and Baby Kay) a part of our special day!

Jacob is like a Jack-In-The-Box, you literally never know when he will pop out with God only knows what. He has become one of my favorite individuals to spend time with, not only from the shared laughs but also the deep conversations demonstrating his true love for the things of God. He is my in-law however, he’s not in my wedding party by obligation but by choice, it wouldn’t be complete without my third brother.

Kirbee is one of the most generous people I know as well as being one of my biggest supporters. We became friends when I felt I had none and when she introduced herself to me, I knew she was an answered prayer. She is funny, loving, and the best friend a girl could ask for. She has always been there to hear, support, and help make all my crazy plans and ideas come to fruition. Although she’d probably rather be behind the scenes making the magic happen, I couldn’t imagine celebrating this special day without her.

I believe I have known Matthew for as long as I’ve known Myla. He is one of the kindest, most genuine, and God fearing men you will ever meet. While we were not always as close through our teenage years, we have grown close once more with one common interest in mind: the Kingdom of Heaven. Matthew was the first person I ever talked to about dating Myla, it’s only fitting he’s there to cry as he walks down the aisle on our special day.

The bob to my Kevin, my, as we like to call it, kindred bestie. With such a big heart and a shared love of all things minions, Lilly and I have been friends since the moment we met. Oftentimes, if you see one of us the other will be along shortly after. She has always been my hype, “If you do it, I’ll do it” friend & life wouldn’t be the same without her humor & the sunshine she brings into every room. There’s never a dull moment when Lilly is around and I can’t wait to have her hype & fun energy on the big day!

While my presence at the Trader home has made Silas rather uncomfortable at times, I do love him and I believe he loves me too. Although, we do relate on a spiritual level with some of our wonderful youngest of the family traits. One of my fondest memories is teaching him in Sunday school years ago and it has been so awesome to see the young man he’s growing up to be. Truthfully I’m just glad he accepted to be in this wedding seeing as though he’s a little weirded out by me marrying his sister.

What started with playing tennis and bonding over our gluten and dairy allergy, turned into a beautiful friendship! With her quick wit and hilarious side comments, Sarah is so fun to be around. She is such a wonderful friend and someone that is always there to listen and share wisdom. She is a cousin to the groom and we are so excited to officially be cousins (although we’ve been saying we are for a while).

While I have known Paul for the shortest time out of all of my groomsmen, our friendship has always been that of genuine love and brotherhood. He is a lifelong friend that I can’t wait to see what and where all God takes. I like to affectionately refer to him as “the apostle.” He also said that this would be the happiest day of his life aside from his own wedding, so of course I wanted him to be a groomsmen.
