Resort Excursions and Water Sports
Snorking Scuba Diving Paddle boarding Gilligan's Island- The small island is great for snorkeling as it has coral reefs and sea life. Resort offers boat rides to the island
Parguera Eco Tours & Bio Bay
This is a great tour to see the bioluminescent waters and you can swim in them! Please keep in mind that the easiest way to see the luminescent waters is when its a new moon so if it happens to be a half moon or full moon it will be harder to see the water light up. This company also offers other type of activities on the water.
Ponce
Ponce is the second largest city in PR, however its not very touristy. Its a great city to walk around and look the different local neighborhoods. My favorite ice cream shop is in Ponce Centro called King's Ice cream. There are also souvenir shops nearby the ice cream store.
Faro Los Morrillos
Located in Playa Sucia, one of my favorite beaches for its calm waters. The lighthouse offers STUNNING views of the southern Caribbean ocean
San Juan
The capital of Puerto Rico and the biggest city on the island. It is the most touristy and VERY "Americanized". It s a good place to go see the touristy things.
Viejo San Juan
This is the historical part of San Juan. There are many places to see such as El Morro as well as the restaurant that invented the Pina Colada.
El Yunque National Forest
This is such a fun experience! But its definitely for the outdoorsy/active people. There are trails you have to hike to get to the many waterfalls. And there are lots of bugs so bring bug spray!
