Nakayla and Terrance met 16 years ago at Hillcrest Baptist School, when Nakayla was in the sixth grade and Terrance was in the seventh. However their paths didn’t cross until Terrance started exercising at the gym Nakayla worked at. After months of just saying hi’s and bye’s and with the help of a couple of matchmakers Terrance and Nakayla exchanged numbers and this is where their love story began. After 3 years of dating,Terrance proposed to Nakayla,a day before his birthday,at Restoration Hardware in Charlotte, NC. Nakayla thought they were only celebrating his birthday. Little did she know, Terrance had other plans in mind. After presenting Nakayla with a photo album full of relationship milestones, he popped the question and of course Nakayla said “yes”.
