Shoutout to Ga Vibes on Clubhouse (the group we were both in). We had a tradition in the group where people would be celebrated on their birthdays. Everyone would have the picture of the birthday celebrant as their profile picture. One of Naa’s first time in the group happened to be on Richards birthday, so everyone had Richard’s picture up, and they were wishing him a happy birthday, but when it got to Naa’s turn, she was stuck on knowing his age. She kept asking, “How old is he?” Then, a few people in the chat would respond, saying, “Why do you want to know? Are you interested in him?” She laughed and said, “I don’t even know the guy why would I be interested?” So that went on for some time, and then they moved on from it. That was an ice-breaker Naa got more comfortable and would consistently target Richard with jokes. She always made fun of his dreads and said it made him look like a scammer. He would just laugh at the jokes and occasionally make jokes of his own. Most our the interactions had been in the group. The first time we spoke privately was a very long and interesting conversation and right after that we just continued to have conversations every day just as friends. We were able to build a good friendship, where we spoke about pretty much everything including future plans and ambitions.
