Well, it's long: about an hour and twenty minutes. If you're not Catholic, just follow along as we sit, stand, kneel, and sing. (There will be programs provided!) When everyone starts to receive the Eucharist, you can either stay in your seat OR come up front and cross your arms over your chest to receive a blessing. We believe that the bread and wine become the body and blood of Christ, so only Catholics may partake. Just enjoy the ceremony and know we are so glad you're with us!
The dress code is semi-formal. Men should wear suits, sports coats and a dress shirt. Women should wear a dress or jumpsuit.
Due to the length and formality of a Catholic Nuptial Mass, we respectfully request that children not join us for your comfort and theirs. If you need help finding a local babysitter, please let me know.
Yes it did! We had a few last minute changes and we are delighted to be having our wedding at St. Ignatius Loyola Parish in Sacramento.
Our reception will be short: only a couple hours of mingling, light savory and sweet nibbles with some champagne for sipping and toasting. We know everyone will have plans for the own way to ring in the new year afterwards!
