David and Jessica met at a BYX Social. Jessica was one of the first people David met in Gainsville. David boldly walked up to Jessica, and stated the famous line that caused us to be here today: "Hi, my name's David! What's yours?"

In September of 2019, David asked Jessica to go running with him. While he was excited to get to know her better he did not realize how little talking can occur when committed to running! They both ran together for about a month until an injury set them back! Curse you high-impact sports!

After some time apart due to Covid Jessica asked David to go hiking with her. Not because she liked him... yet. However, little did she know that this would set off another great adventure. One that included much more talking and a love that has grown to this day! Exactly one year will mark the day of our wedding and we can't wait to see you there!
