Picture this: a pair of the least tech-handy millennials both decided they were tired of 2020 pandemic isolation and decided to give the online dating scene a go. Morgan carefully crafted her bio, which, to her surprise, never saved for others to see, so all Neil had to go off of was a picture of Morgan in a black sweater with a big red flower on the front. Neil thought the gal in the sweater looked sweet, so he messaged her and said, "Hey Morgan! That's a nice poinsweater." Morgan giggled when she read the pun and was quick to respond. It wasn't long after that the two old souls ditched the dating app, and Neil planned a date for the two at a cozy pub in Cary, NC. If you were to ask Morgan, she would say she felt so much peace after their first date and she loved all that she and Neil had in common. He shared his passions for travel, cooking, food, and sustainable agriculture. If you were to ask Neil, he loved that Morgan agreed to split two different entrées at dinner, and he enjoyed the meaningful conversation they shared over a pint of beer. That four-hour first date has led to four wonderful years together, and now here we are, planning our wedding so we can celebrate our love with friends and family! Over the past four years, we have grown so much as individuals and as a couple. From doing long distance between Asheville and Raleigh to finally living together and establishing daily rhythms that bring meaning to our days. We are enjoying this precious life together, with our sweet pup Norman always by our sides of course! Whether we are at home or traveling somewhere across the globe, together is our favorite place to be. We can't wait to celebrate the beginning of our married chapter with the people we love the most on July 11th! Thank you for being a part of our story, and know that we can't wait to raise a glass with you all in Asheville, the mountain town that will always be a home to us.
