The ceremony will be at Rothko Chapel and begin promptly at 4:30pm.
Doors will open to the chapel at 4:00. We ask that you try not to arrive beforehand to allow the staff to get things ready.
Rideshare is encouraged, especially if you are joining us for the reception. Free street parking is available on Sul Ross, Yupon, Branard, and Mulberry streets. Be sure to follow all parking regulations and signs, as street parking is monitored by the City of Houston. Rothko Chapel does not cover any parking ticket fees. The Menil Collection's main parking lot is located at 1515 West Alabama Street and is free. St. Thomas University's Moran Parking Center is located at 3807 Graustark Street and is $10.
No photos allowed during the ceremony. This is a rule set in place by Rothko Chapel, so we ask our guests to honor their request.
The dress code is cocktail attire. This applies for both the chapel and dinner. We encourage guests to dress comfortably while keeping the setting and season in mind. If you are walking from Rothko to Hotel Saint Augustine, we won't be on any grass but keep in mind when picking out your shoes!
Please check with Sam & Molly if you would like to bring an additional guest that wasn't on your invitation.
Wedding invites are coming which includes RSVP cards but if you want to let us know directly, please reach out to Molly or Sam. We ask that we receive RSVP's back by March 23rd.
No worries! We are keeping our wedding ceremony very small but there will be other opportunities to celebrate! More to come on details on how we plan to celebrate this summer on the east coast!
