We're getting married!

We met in August 2019 in Chicago while Mitch was in PA school at Northwestern and Nikki was working in Chicago. A quick eight months later, COVID shut the world down and we bounced between Indiana and Michigan spending lots of time with both our families. In June 2020, we decided to move in together in Chicago and got our sweet golden retriever, Leia, in July 2020. Once Mitch wrapped up PA school, we headed off to Northern California for Mitch to complete his fellowship in CT surgery at Stanford. Our time in California was filled with walks along the coast, trips up to Napa, and Nikki traveling across timezones for work. In late 2021, we decided to move back to Michigan to be closer to family and bought our first house together! After two long winters in the mitten, Mitch was offered an incredible opportunity to fulfill his dream of doing Pediatric CT surgery at Lurie Children's in Chicago so we moved back "home". Needless to say, our journey thus far has been anything but boring...And we can't wait for more adventures as husband and wife!
