Things To Do

Ojo Caliente

Ojo Caliente

Ojo Caliente, NM

Ojo Caliente is our favorite spot for hot springs. It is an hour drive from Santa Fe, and well worth the trip! They have a second location within Santa Fe city limits called Ojo Santa Fe if you aren’t able to make the trip to the original. They have multiple different springs of different temperatures and containing different minerals.

Atalaya Mountain

Atalaya Mountain

NM 87505

Beautiful, moderate 6.2 mile hike whose trailhead can be found at St. John's College with views of Santa Fe and the Jemez Mountains to the West.

Ski Santa Fe

Ski Santa Fe

NM 87506

Visit the Santa Fe ski basin, a 30 minute drive, for summer hikes in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Our favorites are Aspen Vista Trail, Big Tesuque, and Windsor.

San Antonio Hot Springs

San Antonio Hot Springs

Jemez Springs, NM 87025

Another of our favorite hot springs in New Mexico - this is a better trip if you have a half or full day free and a car to drive to the trailhead. Hike in and you’ll be rewarded with multiple pools on the side of a hill!

Georgia O'Keeffe Museum

Georgia O'Keeffe Museum

217 Johnson Street, Santa Fe, NM 87501

Visit this art museum near the Santa Fe plaza highlighting Georgia O'Keeffe and the New Mexico landscape that inspired her work.

Meow Wolf Santa Fe

Meow Wolf Santa Fe

1352 Rufina Circle, Santa Fe, NM 87507
, (505) 395-6369

Interactive art collective that is truly bizarre and very unique. Alex still hasn't been despite being a Santa Fesino!

Los Poblanos

Los Poblanos

Albuquerque, NM 87107

Located in Albuquerque, this lavender farm is one of Claire's favorite places in New Mexico. Go see the blooming lavender, see the peacocks wandering the property, and get a margarita or a bite to eat at Campo, their farm to table-style restaurant on the property.

Santa Fe Farmers Market

Santa Fe Farmers Market

1607 Paseo De Peralta, Santa Fe, NM 87501
, (505) 983-4098

Visit on Saturday mornings for fresh produce, baked goods, and chile.

We love this restaurant for fresh salads.

Opuntia Cafe

1607 Alcaldesa, Ste 201, Santa Fe, NM 87501

Lovely local coffee shop with beautiful plants.

The Pantry

1820 Cerrillos Road, Santa Fe, NM 87505

The best breakfast in Santa Fe.

Tomasita's

500 South Guadalupe Street, Santa Fe, NM 87501

Our favorite New Mexican restaurant that promises to be featured at the reception dinner.
