On August 8, 2023 Maui experienced multiple wild fires causing a devastation. People lost their loved ones, homes, and livelihoods. Most of Lahaina's historical sites were also affected and unfortunately are no longer there. As Maui welcomes back it's travelers, please know that the island of Maui and it's people are still healing. Your kindness and patience with the people of Maui is so much appreciated. Please be advised that there may be some beaches, parks, or historical sites that are not available to visit. Some beaches are still being used as distribution sites for residents who need resources. If you are unsure of appropriate places to visit please refer to the recommended activities listed on our website or feel free to reach out.
