We planned a last-minute trip to Grand Teton National Park, catching a late evening flight to Salt Lake City and hitting the road right after. We drove through the night and made it to the Tetons just in time to see the most beautiful sunrise, with the sun lighting up the peaks and casting a warm alpenglow over the mountains. The day was filled with hiking, swimming, and exploring the park, soaking in as much as we could. As sunset approached, we found a secluded spot in the sagebrush meadows with an incredible view of the whole ridgeline. As the sun dipped behind the peaks and the sky turned soft and golden, Michael got down on one knee and popped the question. We've shared so many adventures together over the years, and getting engaged out west—surrounded by mountains, open sky, and everything we love— felt exactly right.
