Her version: Life is full of surprises, and Chris was definitely one of them. We met back in 2018 at our mutual friend's birthday party at our alma mater, UGA (GO DAWGS!). He was the roommate of our mutual friend, and I was initially surprised to see a new person there since I thought I knew everyone. We introduced ourselves and started making conversation that day. I thought he was cute when I first met him but didn't think much of it. We, along with our other friends, eventually hung out that weekend. Chris was such a GENTLEMAN that weekend and spoiled me like no other. We eventually started texting each other as he joined my friend group at the time. About a month later, we both realized that there was something more than just being friends, and so our relationship began. After college, I moved to Atlanta for physical therapy school and he was working back home. With the shift, we always made time through our busy schedules. We continued to grow closer each year and our families got to know each other- marking the next step in our journey. Chris' rule of thumb to get married was "You need to save up $50k." While I used to joke and brush off the rule, I very quickly realized how serious he was LOL (and THANK goodness he did- he's a smart man!). And as you can conclude, I reached his rule of thumb because here we are! His version: IYKYK - she's a keeper
