Maid of Honor
One of Melissa’s very best friends, role model, and basically big sister. We met 10+ years ago through horses and now she can’t get rid of me. Molly is a phenomenal horsewoman, lawyer, supporter, and all around person. I look up to her (metaphorically and literally) for just about everything. Plus this wedding wouldn’t be nearly as well put together if it wasn’t for her. Thanks for always letting me wear your clothes, for teaching me that no dream is too big, and that I always have the best tribe backing me up
Maid of Honor
I don’t remember meeting Camille, I just remember being best friends. We met over 10 years ago (I think) through horses (with confidence on this answer). Camille moved from France and started riding at the barn I was at, and she, too, is stuck with me. I feel so lucky to have found the most amazing “big sisters” in her and Molly. I would truly be lost without them. Camille is a woman of many talents. She helps me pull myself together when I need it most, organizes my life for me (and much of the wedding details), and encourages me every step of the way. She keeps me grounded, while also never letting me give up on my dreams. Thanks for letting me borrow your shoes, letting me crash at your house, and providing the best advice whenever I need it.
Bridesmaid
Melissa’s only cousin on the Daeschner side, I remember when she was born. I adored her from the moment I met her, and loved being her favorite cousin growing up. Living 8 hours apart meant we didn’t see each other super often, but when we did we made the most of it. Watching Sophia grow into the beautiful, smart, talented young woman she is has been the biggest pleasure. Although balance beam wars at Christmas are a thing of the past, I’m sure there will be many more early morning wake up calls for Sophia as payback for all the years. Sophia is a freshman at Sacred Heart University and is on their track and field team. She’s beautiful inside and out, and I’m so thankful for my “baby cousin”.
Bridesmaid
Izabel is David’s girlfriend and who I will be keeping if they ever break up. I haven’t known Izabel as long as the other bridesmaids, but I’m so grateful for her in my life and for her to be a part of the family. She has the most calming presence and is so fun to be around. Her creativity and craftiness is incredible! She majored in design in UC’s DAAP program, but she also knits (sweaters, hats, socks), can revive pretty much any piece of furniture, sews, crochets (the coolest chalk holder ever), and has a solution to just about any problem. I strive to be half as crafty as Izabel, half as nice as Izabel, and half as patient as Izabel.
Bridesmaid
I also don’t remember meeting Jessica, but that’s because we were under 2 when we met. We lived next door to each other until we were almost 6, but stayed friends even after we moved (only 15 minutes away). From Jessica getting me in trouble for convincing me to draw on everything with her as kids, to living on opposite sides of the country when we graduated college, there are countless memories in between. Like just walking into their house most evenings in high school and college, sledding, skiing, haunted houses, night time graveyard photoshoots and so much more. Jessica lives in LA currently and is a graphic designer.
Bridesman
Melissa’s younger, but definitely not “little,” brother. Of course I had to have my only sibling by my side on my wedding day. David and I have always been pretty close, as we are only two years apart, but we’ve definitely gotten closer as we got older. David got the height, brains, and athleticism of the family, but it’s okay. I love watching David chase his dreams and go on all kinds of adventures with Izabel and their dog, Pacha. David recently moved to Denver, Colorado and works for an insurance company. I can’t wait to go visit them and let them convince me to climb a mountain.
Flower Girl
Our beautiful niece, Mila will serve as our flower girl! Mila just started at a new preschool and will be 3 just a week after our wedding day. We are so honored to have Mila be our flower girl!
Best Man
Tej's older brother, someone that's always been more than just a sibling. Despite the age gap, Abhi and I were rarely at odds with one another, other than the occasional battle for the tv remote growing up. We had very different childhoods however I was fortunate to have had someone as a role model throughout my life, whether it be showing me the way in school or exemplifying what it means to be a loving husband and father. Abhi currently lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with his wife Anusha and two kids, Mila and Shiv where he practices medicine at the Center for Vein Restoration.
Groomsman
Harrison and I met sometime in middle school however not exactly sure when. Our friendship grew closer in high school while in band and continued on through college at UC where we were roommates for three years. Whether it be the late night taco bell runs, road trips to various cities, or the occasional rock band session instead of marching band practice, we would always end up hanging out one way or the other. Harrison currently resides in St. Petersburg, Florida where he works in real-estate.
Groomsman
Unlike most of the other groomsmen, Frank and I did not meet in band however we did meet sometime in high school. We quickly found many shared interests between board games, cards, ping pong and video games. Even though we opted to go to colleges at the opposite ends of the state, we maintained our close friendship throughout the years. If it weren't for Frank, I may have never met Melissa in the first place to which I will forever be grateful for. Frank currently lives in McAllen, Texas with his wife Alé and works in car insurance.
Groomsman
When I think of Greg, I immediately think of all the deep conversations we've had through the years. Like most of the other groomsmen, Greg and I met in high school during marching band. Throughout high school, Greg's house became the central place to meetup and hang out between our mutual group of friends whether it be to play super smash bros, endless rounds of capitalism, or catan till 4 am. With Greg only being a couple hours away at OSU, the many visits to hang out or cheer on the buckeyes continued to grow our bond closer. Even to this day, our proximity is only a few hours drive as Greg lives in Washington, DC with his girlfriend McKayla.
Groomsman
If I had last spoken to Wilfredo 5 years ago and we had a conversation today, it would be as if we last had a conversation 5 days ago instead, without missing a beat. I met Wilfredo during marching band in high school like a lot of my close friends. Upon graduation, Wilfredo pursued art school out of state and joined the Airforce Reserves while I stayed local in Cincinnati however we still tried to keep in touch. Despite the distance, Wilfredo would always make the effort to visit, even if it meant driving 5+ hours. Whether you were looking for a laugh, help with your car, or needed someone to vent to, Wilfredo would be there and I'm thankful he has remained an important part of my life to this day. Wilfredo and his girlfriend Valerie currently reside in Boston, Massachusetts where he works in aviation mechanics and design.
Groomsman
Although the marching band connection is strong within our mutual group of friends, Nick and I actually met back in middle school as tuba players in the same class. While there was a time where we virtually saw each other every day during band practice, Nick and I also overlapped in our interest in French. Whether it be talking about football, playing halo, or navigating the complex landscape of DnD, Nick has been there over the years as someone to talk to or hang out with, even if it's online. Nick currently lives in Austin, Texas with his wife Karri while he pursues his doctorate in Acoustic Engineering.
