While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
Semi-formal attire will do! The venue has quite a few hills and stairs so feel free to wear your boogie shoes that you can walk well in.
According to the very trusty Google.com, the average temperature for September in Saratoga, California is a high of 80 and a low of 50. We all know California usually doesn't have drastic weather, so we are hoping the weather will be favorable and not be too cold, even throughout the night! Just in case, there will be a fire later on in the night to keep warm.
Our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception will all be held outdoors, in the redwood forest, under the stars!
We kindly ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony (4:45pm) so that we can get things started promptly at 5 pm. The faster we are hitched, the faster we can race to the open bar!
Please note that venue is off of highway 9, a very narrow and windy road. Although there will be nurses, doctors, and firefighters at this event to save your life, there will also be a scary policeman, so please plan to leave your car accordingly (and pick it up by 9 am the next day before the next wedding!) or use Uber/Lyft.
We plan on heading over to The Bank in downtown Saratoga to continue the party. Melanie does turn into a pumpkin at midnight though, so no promises :)
